Context & Challenge
The client had multiple disparate Salesforce Communities that were built on older Salesforce technology. These technologies were also not integrated with their other internal systems. The branding of the site also needed to be updated to reflect the latest brand redesign.
Solution
Develop an integrated site map that accounts for the different persona groups (direct sales, distributors, partners), and the multiple technologies, and design the UI for an Experience Cloud solution that integrates Coveo, as federated search appliance.

We reviewed their existing technologies, taxonomies, product lists, and the original community the experience was built in. We used this analysis as inputs to the site map we developed.
Unauthenticated Home Page
To ensure users understood the value of the community, we crafted home page that listed the various features.
Coveo Search & Results
Given the many disparate data sources and technologies, the client wanted to incorporate a search appliance like Coveo as a means of creating a “global” search of their knowledge repositories.
Product Topic Discussion
Experience Cloud offers features that enable administrators to define topics and products for the community to engage in discussions on. This feature facilitates contextual engagement and dialogue within the community, helping to empower users and deflect support cases from customer service, thereby improving user satisfaction and reducing costs.
