Context & Challenge
Historically, mobile responsive interactive data visualizations meant for public consumption by general users took entire IT teams to design, build, and implement at scale.
I posited that a tool like Tableau in combination with Tableau Public and its embedding feature, would be an efficient and inexpensive way to deliver responsive interactive data visualizations at scale, and without the need for developers.
Solution
I developed a solution in collaboration with Tableau consultants that would allow us to define custom responsive views in Tableau, and display those views of the data visualizations.
Engage Tableau data scientists and internal stakeholders for requirements gathering.
Recreate legacy data interactive dashboards using a software solution.
Design new interactive templates for use across the client site.
Create a style guide for use in turn-key Tableau designs.
